There is no doubt that Bollywood stars are multi-talented they surprise the audience with something new and different. Stars take one step forward and try singing, choreographing, directing and even producing films. They have also tried writing and have written some amazing scripts. Bollywood actors were so passionately into their projects that from the story to the scripts they wrote it all. Stars have contributed their bit to their films and made their character a memorable one. Indian cinema is the world's largest film industry in terms of film production, with an annual output of 1,986 feature films as of 2017, and Bollywood its largest film producer, with 364 Hindi films produced annually as of 2017. Here are some stars who have contributed and turned scriptwriters for their own films.

The ‘Dabangg’ Khan has always impressed the audience with his innovative skills, signing, and peppy dance moves. The actor surprises his audience every time he comes on screen. He is one actor who tries to do something innovative for his every film. He has contributed to writing ‘Veer’ film. He has also helped in the scripting of ‘Baaghi: Rebel for Love’ starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. It has also been said that we will be helping in doing something special in ‘Kick 2’. ‘Veer: An Epic Love Story’ of a Warrior in a 2010 Indian action drama film directed by Anil Sharma, and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Zareen Khan. The story goes like Veer promises his father that he will finish Singh, he gatecrashes Yashodhara's Swayamvara. As he takes the princess away from the fort, Gyanendra Singh sees a vast army of Pindaris has surrounded his fort. He asks the British to help him but they refuse and make the Pindaris their ally in a bid to escape from Madhavghar. Before the British leave, a battle follows in which the Governor and Gyanendra Singh are killed. Veer, wounded from a gunshot, falls unconscious in the arms of his father. Years later it is shown that Veer's son and Prithvi are having a friendly fight.

He is one of the best actors of Bollywood. Kader Khan has acted in some amazing films and he has been co-writer of these films. Some of the fantastic films include ‘Aunty No 1’, ‘Agneepath’, ‘Diya Aur Toofan,’ ‘Coolie’, ‘Indrajeet’, ‘Lawaaris’. He is a brilliant actor. Kader Khan has acted in over 300 films in Hindi and Urdu and has written dialogues for over 250 Indian films, from the 1970s up to the turn of the 21st century. He is most popularly recognized for working with actor Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda and in films by David Dhawan. He has worked side-by-side with other comedians like Shakti Kapoor and Johnny Lever. He has played a large variety of parts in films like a supporting role of a father, uncle, brother, main villain or the side villain, guest actor and comedian. He recently appeared in ‘Tevar’ (2015), ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ (2004), ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’ (2006) and ‘Family: Ties of Blood’ (2006).

The actress also wrote her own film ‘That Girl In Yellow Boots’. It was a fantastic film. The actress had written for theatre plays as well earlier. The actress has nailed her performance in every film she has acted in. "I won't ever write and act in the same film because I get so confused with the writer in you saying 'No, it's not correct' and the actor saying something else. It's not good," she also said this earlier. It was thriller film by director Anurag Kashyap, starring Naseeruddin Shah as well. The film was shot in just 13 days. It was primarily framed in tight spaces, like apartments, massage parlors, and rickshaws leading to a "claustrophobic sense of unease that permeates the entire film". Many of the cast members had previously worked together in theatre productions; this familiarity allowed the director to shoot the film in a shorter period of time. He admitted that he never "directed" any of the actors during the filming, "I've never told any actor what to do, only what not to do. You have to trust your actors, and I know mine inside and out."Director Anurag Kashyap found the entire filming emotionally draining and tough, especially because it was made mostly on borrowed money.

The actress had turned writer for her film ‘A Death in the Gunj’. Earlier she had written for a short film titled ‘Naamkoron’. ‘A Death in the Gunj’ was a drama film and was also directed by Konkona Sen Sharma. It features an ensemble cast of Vikrant Massey, Tillotama Shome, Om Puri, Tanuja, Gulshan Devaiah, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh and Ranvir Shorey. The film got eight nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, including Best Film(Critics), Best Actor (Critics) for Massey, Best Supporting Actress for Tillotama Shome and won Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director for Sharma. Set in 1979, A Death in the Gunj is a coming of age story, about a shy student Shyamal Chatterjee. He uses a family road trip to McCluskiegunj, an old Anglo-Indian town, as an escape from his failed semester. At the outset, the makings of a perfect family holiday are in place but something is amiss. In the week that follows, Shute's quiet unraveling is overlooked by the family revellers, until the holiday ends with an implosion.

The actor has some major inputs in the sequel of the film ‘Ghayal’, he has contributed to ‘Ghayal Once Again’ the film which the actor took upon himself. It was an action drama film written and directed by Sunny Deol and produced by Dharmendra. The sequel to the 1990 film ‘Ghayal’ stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. The film opens with flashbacks of Ghayal, Angry young man Ajay Mehra shoots and kills Balwant Rai (who had murdered Ajay's brother) and surrenders himself to upright cop Joe D'Souza. Ajay is sentenced to prison. Upon his release, he begins a new career as a reporter for an independent newspaper but also works as a vigilante who assists the police with their hard-to-prosecute cases (including cases where the accused are prominent and influential members of society). Ajay overcomes the cops and mounts an attack on the Bansal mansion to rescue his daughter. There is a fierce fight. Ajay rescues his own daughter as well as Bansal's daughter who gets trapped in the debris. Bansal surrenders and is arrested along with his son. The film ends as Ajay and his daughter recover in the hospital surrounded by their friends.

The actor is also a fantastic stand-up comedian as well. He will be writing a family comedy based on crime. He has also bought himself a typewriter to be in the writer’s zone. He has worked in some films as well earlier. Vir Das got inspired to write seeing a 100-year-old typewriter and at the London screening of his film ‘31st October’. “My company Weirdass Comedy will produce the film and I’m going to act in the same,” he also said. Das has performed in approximately 35 plays, over 100 stand-up comedy shows, eight TV shows, two movies and six comedy specials. The actor has performed over 100 comedy shows in all the major cities. He debuted six comedy specials written, directed by and starring him at the India Habitat Center. He began filming for his first two Bollywood roles in early 2006. He played a small role Vipul Shah's 2007 movie ‘Namastey London’.

One of the best actors he had written ‘Baazi’ which starred Dev Anand and Geeta Bali. The movie stars Dev Anand with Geeta Bali and Kalpana Kartik. It is a crime thriller and had very popular music composed by S.D. Burman. The story of the film goes like Madan (Dev Anand) comes from a once well-to-do family background, and is now out of work and lives in a shanty with a sick younger sister Manju (Roopa Verman). Unable to find employment, he takes to gambling in a big way. He develops a reputation for being a lucky gambler and is one day found and escorted by a stranger named Pedro to the Star Hotel where he meets the seductive dancer Leena (Geeta Bali) and is offered a job by the mysterious "Maalik" (Boss), of tempting rich gentlemen to come and gamble at the club. Initially reluctant to take up this offer due to moral pangs, he refuses and leaves. Rajani's father threatens Madan that he will kill his sister if he says anything. Madan keeps quiet and is sentenced to be hanged at 6 am. Inspector Ramesh finds some evidence that it wasn't Madan who killed Leena. He sets a trap for Rajani's father and leads him to believe that Madan has been hanged, and in his joy, makes him confess to his plan to frame Madan. Then, Rajani's father is arrested and imprisoned and Madan is sent to three months' worth probation for indulging in gambling activities. He is freed after serving his small sentence and is united with Rajani.
