From Virushka’s wedding to Karan Johar’s twins, this year in Bollywood saw an onset of some much wanted wonderful news. As the year comes to an end, we bring you some memories of the best news we have received from Bollywood this year.
02/11Virushka's (Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli) wedding
Of course, this has to top our list because who isn't super excited and happy for Virushka's wedding? After much speculation about their relationship and wedding, cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma finally tied the knot on Monday in Italy. The couple had a beautiful ceremony with close family and friends in attendance, and yes, their fans went crazy.
03/11Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan's wedding
Another beautiful couple who tied the knot this year and recently, was Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge and cricketer Zaheer Khan. The couple got married after dating for quite a few years. The couple, later on, threw a star-studded wedding reception for their friends and family at a renowned hotel in Mumbai. Zaheer and Sagarika were all smiles at their reception as they walked and posed hand in hand for the paparazzi.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu welcomed their little bundle of joy, daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu into the world this year. The duo welcomed their first child, on Friday, 29 September 2017. After announcing the arrival of their baby on Twitter, the proud new father took to his microblogging app once again to reveal the name of his daughter.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's beautiful daughter Sara Ali Khan is finally making her Bollywood debut opposite actor Sushant Singh Rajput in their upcoming film 'Kedarnath'. The film is slated to release on 21 December, 2018. Whereas, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter in their upcoming film 'Dhadak'. As of now, the film is slated to release in July next year.

Another Bollywood actress and supermodel Lisa Haydon was one more celebrity who had a baby this year. Lisa Haydon embraced motherhood as she announced the birth of her baby boy on her Instagram profile. The 'Queen' actress took to Instagram and shared a picture announcing the birth of her son, who had been named Zack. Lisa gave birth on May 17, 2017 after documenting her pregnancy in style on social media. She shared the news by posting a picture of her holding the infant in her arms with husband Dino Lalvani excitedly waving to the camera. Lisa wrote along with the picture, "Zack Lalvani born 17th May 2017"

Kamaal Rashid Khan was banned from Twitter earlier this year after the reality show star had leaked the plot to Aamir Khan's blockbuster hit film 'Secret Superstar'. Kamaal had then not only threatened to commit suicide but had also promised to return with a vengeance, and he did. Kamaal made another account on Twitter only to have it (thankfully) deleted once again.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is on cloud nine ever since the arrival of his little bundles of joy Yash and Roohi. The doting daddy has till date only shared a few pictures of the twins, one being on the festival of Raksha Bandhan with his mother Hiroo cradling the infants. Apart from that, he has shared a few pictures of things that relate to his kids like their play space, their cradle and nursery which was specially designed by BFF Gauri Khan.
09/11Commercial box-office success of 'Hindi Medium'
'Hindi Medium' collected Rs 2.81 crore on its opening day and became the highest solo opener of Irrfan khan. It also clashed with a much bigger release 'Half Girlfriend' (2017) starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles which earned over Rs 10.5 crore on the first day. Gradually, the film turned to be more successful than the former. Even though it wasn't a very high budget film, it still went on to become a commercial box-office success.
10/11Commercial box-office success of 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'
Another low budget film to have attained box-office success is Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'. The film received positive reviews from the critics, notably praised for the lead actress Kriti Sanon. The film was given high ratings as well.
