With Bollywood making two back-to-back official Hollywood remakes - 'Rambo' which is a remake of Sylvester Stallone starrer film of the same title and 'Tubelight' which is an official adaptation of 'Little Boy', here's a list of other famous Bollywood films that took its storyline from a foreign film.
02/11Rambo
A foreign online portal was the first to break the news about Tiger Shroff signing on to do the official Indian remake of Sylvester Stallone's iconic film 'Rambo'. The film is to be directed by Siddharth Anand and co-produced by M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures.
03/11Tubelight
A teaser of Salman Khan starrer 'Tubelight' in its end mentioned that the film is an official adaptation of a Hollywood film 'Little Boy'. Director Kabir Khan too confirmed the news and added that though they have taken inspiration from the story, but have twisted the tale to suit Indian taste buds.

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer 'Brothers', which is a tale of two brothers who lock hands owing to their troubled childhood, is an official remake of the Hollywood film 'Warriors'.

The famous love story between Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, 'Hum Tum' was based on the Hollywood film 'When Harry Met Sally'. Keeping in mind the Indian sensibilities, the makers changed the storyline a little bit and added little more drama to the film.

'Heyy Babyy', an official adaptation of Hollywood film 'Three Men And A Baby' was a comical ride. The crazy banter that the actor created along with the baby left the audiences in splits.

'Chachi 420' is an official remake of 'Mrs. Doubtfire', however, the makers claimed that the movie though is inspired, but the plots are different. The film revolves around a couple heading for divorce and how their daughter is saddened by the fact that her parents are heading for splitsville. Circumstances, however, change and love is what brings back the family together.

David Dhawan's 'Partner' starring Govinda and Salman Khan is an official remake of Will Smith starrer 'Hitch'. Salman and Govinda's banter and punch lines amidst the storyline not only made the film an amazing watch but also 'Partner' performed extremely well at the Box Office.

The story of a man who constantly blames God for all the misdoings and problems in his life, 'God Tussi Great Ho' was an official adaptation of Jim Carrey starrer 'Bruce Almighty'. While 'Bruce Almighty' was a hit amongst the masses, Salman starrer 'God Tussi Great Ho' failed to perform so well at the Box Office.
