Aditi Rao Hydari is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie 'Bhoomi', which will mark the comeback of Sanjay Dutt on the silver screen. The actressi is also shooting for Sanjay Lela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati', and is all praise for the filmmaker. "He's a taskmaster. I enjoy working with such people who like to challenge you, put you in a difficult situation that gives you an adrenaline rush out of it. Sanjay sir is very strict, and won't let you go till he gets his shot right. It's very difficult, but he brings the best out of you. And, he's doing this because he has the passion for cinema every single frame, every single scene. What more can I ask for as an actor?"
Talking about working with Ranveer in 'Padmavati', she said, "Ranveer is very focused, but off the sets he's a lot of fun. We both worked together seven years ago on a project when we were both unemployed. So, we have that bond. Ranveer is my first hero, and I'm his first heroine. We're very comfortable with each other. It's a lot of fun working with him."
Her upcoming film 'Bhoomi' is being compared with Sridevi's 'MOM' and Ranveena Tandon's 'Maatr' as people are predicting it will have a similar storyline. To this, she asserted, "I've heard a lot about 'Mom', but every movie is different. The situation is different, and circumstances are different. It's not like three people are making the same movie. Crime against women occurs in so many different ways everyday that we can make one movie on this chapter, and have a new story every time."
Recalling an emotionally exhausting scene from the sets, the actress said, "It was terrible! Usually, I'm fine with crime, fighting, love making and intense scenes nothing bothers me. I would never have problems. But all the physical stuff was terrible. You're being manhandled, pushed around... it was really bad; it's horrible. I'm not saying what the situation is, but it's violent and it makes you feel humiliated. At one point, I felt so humiliated, I burst into tears."
Helmed by Omung Kumar, 'Bhoomi' will hit the theatres on 22nd
