Come winter, the air is filled with goofy jokes and extravagant fashion choices, ‘cause back comes our favourite time of the year: award functions! And the Reliance Digital And Filmfare Glamour And Style Awards 2017 was truly a fashion extravaganza to remember and list of those who attended was extensive. And while the men played it strong with their style-game on the red carpet, they didn’t even come close to the women! And while a few may have taken style awards home that night, we think 8 of these divas gave us style tips to remember with their swanky looks.

Styled by Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, Alia looked pretty in a pale pink dress featuring a tiered hemline as also a Victorian neckline. With her look, Alia demoed how you can go with soft florals for an evening look as featured on her dress. The chintzy floral multi-hued embroidered motifs lent that refreshing vibe to her evening look and kept Alia standing out despite her style mantra of minimalism.

Other than bagging the ‘Most Glamorous Star (Female)’ award, Deepika showed just how to accessorize a very dramatic look. Styled yet again by her stylist, Shaleena Nathani, Deepika donned a gorgeous Gauri & Nainika gown. The gown featured a bold mermaid-cut hem and an exaggerated bow at the back. Deepika went with statement danglers and balanced the drama out by leaving her neck bare, void of any jewellery. Of course, there is the matter of on-fleek hair and makeup.

Paying homage to the great visionary Azzedine Alaia, Esha Gupta played muse to Nikhil Thampi and worked this ultra sexy look on the red carpet. With her look, Esha proved that it’s possible to keep it classy despite a lot of skin-show. The actress donned a black dress with buckled panels on either side thus putting on display her curvaceous body. Her dress even featured an interesting neckline and side slits. The texture of her outfit kept her looking classy Esha kept it rather sophisticated by doing away with baubles too!

With her red carpet look, Jacqueline demoed how with a single element you could add that statement to your look. And in this diva’s case, it was her adorable clutch. Styled by Chandni Whabi, Jacqueline donned a white strapless gown adorned with sculptural waves and she broke the monotony of the lambent hue with a studded pink rose clutch, adding that quirky dash of colour and class to her overall look.

Styled by friend and stylist Rhea Kapoor, Kareena worked a heavily embroidered white gown featuring a sexy back and a long train. And the actress demoed how with just accessories you could throw in that pop of colour to any monotone outfit. Kareena did it with emerald danglers from Mehernosh Heeramaneck adding subtle pops bright green to her neutral look. That dress though…Even stunning is an understatement!

Katrina’s outfit was arguably the most sultry look of the night. And while Katrina didn’t really give us a style lesson herself, her outfit sure did. We love how she exuded sharp yet sexy vibes on the red carpet. With styling courtesy going to Tanya Ghavri, Katrina worked a black gown featuring an asymmetrical thigh-high split as also a floral printed yellow bralet. The black one-shouldered shoulder accent helped balance out the sharpness while the bralet exuded casual and sexy vibes. Unique, right?

Kriti looked like a vision in red, styled by Sukriti Grover for the night. And while we’re crushing hard on her shimmery red Zara Umrigar gown, Kriti’s makeup stole the cake for us. The actress proved that statement red lips can make all the difference to your look and she also demoed that there is nothing like ‘too much red’ by matching her lip colour to her bright and bold dress. Makeup artist, Jacobs Adrian aptly gave Kriti a light glow all over and statement red lips to complement her overall look for the night.

“There’s nothing as too much gold”, said Sonam Kapoor’s look. Styled by her sister and stylist Rhea Kapoor, Sonam worked a strapless princess gown that featured a gold mirror embellished bodice and an elaborate skirt with the same mirror accents. Sonam even paired her look with a gold tiara-like headgear and wait, there’s more. She even went with gold eyeshadow for her makeup! We’ve fallen irrevocably in love with her look and bet you have too!
