Smokey-eyes always start at the base

Properly priming the eyelid is of utmost importance as this results in the eyeshadow lasting longer and makes blending easier too. "Eyeshadow can drag on an oily eyelid, so priming or powdering first is essential," says Morris. "Primers are great, I like Laura Mercier, NARS or MAC, but at the end of the day, translucent powder works fine too and it's what all the pro's do. Perfect the blush placement

Line your lips always

"Making your lips look bigger doesn't always make you look younger," warns Morris. Over-lining can make that little peak and shadow that naturally happens below the lower lip disappear. You're better off following your natural shape and cutting in slightly at the outer corner, this makes your pout look fuller, more heart shaped and more youthful," Morris adds.
