On Tuesday, Apply launched three of its much awaited products, the IPhone 8, IPhone 8 plus and the fancy IPhone X. While people had been waiting for all the three products with bated breath, it was naturally the X edition that had the highest curiosity around it, owing to the fact that it's the first of its kind.
Apple first launched the IPhone 8 ad IPhone 8 plus and people were somewhat disappointed to see that its body is almost the same as its preceding products, the IPhone 7 and IPhone 7 plus. It is so similar that one can even use the same cases for the new models but unlike the 7, the 8 models support wireless charging, run the latest A11 Bionic processor, and have 2 gigs of RAM. They also have glass backs, which gives them a glossy new look.
As for the IPhone X, it looks like no other phone, not even like an IPhone. On the front, it's screen stretching from its head to foot, save for a small trapezoidal notch taken out of the top where Apple put selfie cameras and sensors. Otherwise, the bezel around the edge of the phone has been whittled to near-nonexistence and the home button disappeared—all screen and nothing else. The case is made of glass and stainless steel, like the much-loved iPhone 4. The notched screen might take some getting used to, but the phone's a stunner. It goes on sale starting at $999 on October 27, and it ships November 3.
However, it is this exorbitant price of the IPhone X and the repetitive design of the IPhone 8 and 8 plus that has inspired hilarious memes on social media. Check them out:
