Bollywood stars have been constantly been in the limelight, but their siblings choose to not work in the cinema world. A number of star kids have debuted recently and a number of them are in line to debut in Bollywood soon. Like Sonam Kapoor's brother, Harshvardhan Kapoor too followed the footsteps of his sister and is and made his debut in Bollywood, whereas his sister Rhea Kapoor is far from films and has more interest in getting behind the camera. Bollywood celebrities’ siblings choose to take up other career option rather than entering into cinema and making a career in the film industry. Like Deepika Padukone’s sister is a golfer and she was just 12 years old when she started playing golf. So here are 10 stars’ siblings who have not entered the cinema world.

Alia Bhatt’s sister who is seen constantly with her also has no interest in venturing into cinema. She is Alia’s best friend and also stays together with her sister as they have recently shifted to a new house. In fact, she loves to call the shots behind the scenes and plans to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a successful director. Both sisters are very fond of pets; they also have a cat named Edward. Shaheen has also written few scenes for films like ‘Jism 2’ and ‘Zeher’. She has learned editing and filmmaking from London and worked as an assistant director in ‘Raaz 3’. She loves poetry and script writing and she has also co-written ‘Son of Sardaar’.

Anisha Padukone is a golfer. Anisha Padukone’s family hails from Bengaluru in the state of Karnataka. Anisha Padukone’s father is the great Indian former badminton player Prakash Padukone. She is the sister of Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone. Anisha Padukone did her education from Mount Carmel College, which is in Bengaluru. Anisha Padukone also played cricket, hockey, tennis, and badminton but it was golf that fascinated her. She was just 12 when she started playing golf. She idolises Indian sportswoman Saina Nehwal for the fighting spirit she displays in every game. After producing the hit film ‘Aisha’, sister Sonam Kapoor played the main lead in the film, she made another film with her sister ‘Khubsoorat’ which also starred Fawad Khan. Riddhima Kapoor was seen endorsing a jewellery brand with her mother Neetu Kapoor but she has no plans to be in the movies. Born in the Kapoor family, but the life of a Bollywood actress never appealed to Riddhima. She is happily married to industrialist Bharat Sahni and is also well-known as a jewellery designer. She was seen recently as well making a public appearance with brother Ranbir Kapoor and parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

Despite being born in the Bachchan family, Shweta never thought of becoming a Bollywood actress. She is currently married to Nikhil Nanda and has two kids, Navya Naveli and Agastya. Her father, brother and sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been ruling the cinema world. She is Karan Johar’s best friend and they both even go for holidays together. Arjun Kapoor's sister has shown zero interest in becoming yet another star Kapoor to join the Bollywood family. Many wouldn’t know but Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan have a sibling as well. She was also recently seen with her family at Soha Ali Khan’s book launch, where she was present at the event with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore. Saba chose to stay away from Bollywood life and currently enjoys her private space and pursues her love for jewellery designing.

Ahana dabbled with the technical aspects of filmmaking while pursuing her love for Oddisi dance. She married a Gurgaon-based businessman, Vaibhav Vora. Unlike Esha, Dharmendra and Hema Malini she did not venture into cinema. She performs with her mother Hema Malini till now, as they both dance together. Ahana Deol recently hosted Esha's baby shower, she said, "Esha had thrown a surprise baby shower party for me when I was pregnant three years ago. So, I decided to do the same for her. These are the fun moments that we share as sisters. Of course, Bharat helped a lot - he sneakily got me Esha's measurements for the gown.”
