Acne is probably the most common skin issue affecting men and women all over the world. And if you thought you’re the only one suffering from the so-called ‘embarrassment’, trust us you’re not. In fact, our friends in Hollywood suffer from the skin condition too and while you may not think that they do (thanks to all the caked makeup), they really do! Here are all your Hollywood favourites who got real about their acne issues...
02/6Zendaya
“My hormonal breakouts popping up every month unwelcome, just when I think I got my skin on lock,” she took to Twitter to say. We love how Zendaya got real with dealing with acne and she expressed a sentiment we all often feel, did she not?
03/6Justin Bieber
According to a post Bieber posted on Instagram you shouldn't be ashamed of your acne because, from what we can tell, he certainly isn't of his. In fact, the singer thinks blemishes are on-trend. Well, we sure share the same sentiments with the singer. Do you too?
04/6Lucy Hale
Lucy Hale was recently perhaps the first star to be snapped while dotted with zit cream. The actress herself posted a sweatpants-clad photo the paps took of her on Instagram and said, “When you're caught with zit cream and a really chic outfit.” We love how she made the issue a humorous one.
05/6Katy Perry
Katy Perry has always been brutally honest about any imperfections she has or had. And recently, the songstress got real about her acne issue stating that she uses Proactiv’s exfoliant and toner for the issue. We love how the diva has never shied away from talking about any skin problems she may have had.
06/6Kendall Jenner
On her website, Jenner posted a heartfelt note to her fans saying, "I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn’t even think about looking at guys." Offering advice to her fans who felt the same way, she said, "It wasn't anything that happened overnight. Even after things started to clear up, it took a solid amount of time to be okay with my skin and gain back my confidence. I realized that it's a part of life for some people, and it doesn't define who you are."
