If there is one thing we know about Deepika Padukone by now, it is that she is one hell of a bomb on the red carpet. You can always trust her to put her best and most fashionable foot forward and rarely does she tend to disappoint with her style. Now, while we do give immense credit to her stylists, Shaleena Nathani especially, Deepika too deserves to be put on the pedestal for being the poised and classy dame she is. Today, we decided to get you our top 8 favourite red carpet looks of the diva’s ‘cause they sure make for some unforgettable and timeless ones!

At the recently-held Hello Hall of Fame awards, Deepika opted for a gorgeous white gown by Falguni & Shane Peacock that her one and only, Shaleena Nathani picked out for her. Her gown featured a plunge for the neckline, dramatic sleeves and a metallic belt that accentuated her lean waist. Deepika, in the sultry-meets-elegant number, looked stunning, to say the least. She went with strong eyebrows and bold, smokey eyes and wore her hair in an up-do to keep it looking chic and sophisticated.

Here, Deepika chose to work a pink Benarasi saree to make her appearance at a style and fashion awards function. Deepika opted for the bright and gorgeous drape and she teamed it with a simple and classy sleeveless blouse. The actress went with bold gold baubles including a gold choker and matching ethnic round studs to accessorise with. Deepika went with statement kohled eyes and a severely parted bun for her hairdo. We love how she aces sexy gowns and the traditional drape like a total fashion pro!

For the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards, 2017, Deepika opted for drama. She was seen working a red Gauri & Nainika gown which featured a mermaid cut, a sexy, low back and an exaggerated bow detail on the back for a dramatic appeal. Her solid red gown was accessorised with a pair of beautiful diamond danglers and a couple of delicate diamond rings too. Her highlighted hair was styled in soft waves that were sleeked back for a slightly edgy effect and her look was rounded off with smokey eyes and bold oxblood lips!

For an awards function last year, Deepika opted to go the sexy and sultry way for the night. She was seen working a Sabyasachi Mukherjee embroidered lehenga which was teamed with a skimpy blouse that could pass off as a bralette. A black dupatta was draped around like a saree pallu and then cinched at the waist with a studded black belt. Deepika teamed her sexy saree with a pair of Sabyasachi earrings and she went with strong brows and dramatic eyes too. Her hair was styled in a teased and messy ponytail. This makes for one of our most favourite looks of hers!

Yet again, Deepika chose the ethnic drape to make her appearance on the red carpet as she attended an awards function. Donning Sabyasachi again, Deepika was seen working a white and red striped Georgette saree belted with a sleek white belt and she went with a textured black long-sleeved blouse to round off her look with. The blouse featured metallic cuffs lending that bling to the look. Deepika went with her trusted up-do for her hair revealing classy diamond drop earrings. With strong eyebrows, defined eyes and bold red lips, she rounded it off.

On the red carpet at Cannes, Deepika looked ethereal. Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, the actress worked a white satin gown featuring spaghetti straps, a low neck and cut-out accent at the back which went all the way down to her lower back. Her embellished straps went down into a ‘V’ and made for a very sexy addition to it all. Acing the side boob trend with class, Deepika went with diamond danglers and an embellished headgear to adorn her hairdo with. Going with brown lips and smokey eyes, she looked straight out of a fairytale!

Styled by Elizabeth Saltzman, Deepika worked a one-side-shouldered sheer gown at the Cannes festival last year. In a deep gem-toned maroon that could pass off as black at times, she stole the show. The sheer skirt was layered over a floral embroidered bodysuit by Marchesa Notte and the sheer skirt helped make for a very leggy display. With De Grisogono danglers, she rounded it off and her look was complete with left down blown-out hair, smokey eyes and a bold maroon lip. Deepika’s Cannes look stole our hearts!

For an awards function back in 2016, Deepika chose a black Gauri & Nainika gown to stun in. Her gown featured a one-shouldered accent, an exaggerated rose in the front and a ruffled and tiered skirt. The cut-out sheer accent on the side lent the look that sexiness and Deepika delicately accessorised with dainty danglers to keep it classy. She yet again wore her hair in an up-do and kept her makeup light and subtle. In the dark hue, she stunned.
