White gowns are MAJOR for summer and the Cannes 2018 red carpet is proof enough of just that! However, if there is one actress who has been a major fan of the white gown for a long while now, it’s Deepika Padukone. From working structured white gowns to sheer ones, she has managed to stun in them all. Not only has she mastered the art of styling her elaborate white numbers but also manages to pull them off with much-needed elegance, grace and poise. Turning up the temperatures on the Cannes 2018 red carpet, Deepika looked nothing short of a Goddess at the film festival. Deepika opted for a classy white sheer mermaid gown by Zuhair Murad featuring an elaborate thread embroidered detailing and a long trailing cape. The nude inner lining of the gown gave the number a sultry appeal as did the plunging neckline. With Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewels, she accessorised her look. The actress stepped into a pair of ankle strap heels by Nicholas Kirkwood to round things off. Deepika made sure that there was absolutely no flaw in her look and there wasn't!

Expressing her love for sartorial drama yet again, the actress opted for a gorgeous white gown by Falguni & Shane Peacock that was picked out for her by her stylist Shaleena Nathani. Featuring a waist-deep plunge, dramatic sleeves and a metallic belt, the sultry-meets-sexy look was an absolute winner. Her makeup too harboured at the dramatic dock with super strong eyebrows and bold, smokey eyes. This was balanced off with matte lips and lightly blushed cheeks.

Trust Padukone to pull off a deceptively-difficult satin slip gown with zero effort. The almost-bridal look by Tommy Hilfiger was accented with minimal embellishments on the straps and hemline. Padukone also opted for diamond earrings and star-shaped hair accessories to accessorise her look with. Going with her tried-and-trusted slicked-back bun and a minimalistic makeup look, she stunned. That slight side-boob show there...rather bold, right? We love it!

Spotted at the Ralph Lauren fashion show earlier last year, the actress stunned in the white number. Now, while this look isn't technically a 'gown', we just had to add it to the list considering how utterly chic it was! Wearing a number from the label's Fall 2017 collection, she looked breathtaking! Her dress featured a tiered fringed look and she rounded it off with a cream overcoat. She complemented her fringe-y dress by tying her hair in a sleek bun and went with a subtle and daytime look for her makeup.

Spotted at the Beijing, China premiere of her movie, ‘ xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ last year, the actress looked stunning in a white Ralph Lauren gown. The halter-neck number hung close to her svelte figure and the extended train lent that added drama to her monotone look. Deepika wore her hair quite interestingly. A low ponytail with a bun was how she styled her locks. We love her so-on-point makeup too! There's nothing about this look that we would change! if there is one actress who knows how to wear white like an angel, it's Deepika!
