05/8Figgy sparkler
Sparkling, soft and delightful – this cocktail has all the making of a glorious drink. For making it, dip some cranberries, fig and oranges with vodka. Let it rest for at least an hour. Pour this mixture into half the glass, top it off with champagne of your choice.
06/8Black velvet
This stunning cocktail is so simplisistic that it has been around for centuries. If you can’t choose between beer or champagne, this one is for you. All you need to do is mix equal parts of the bubbly and a dark, heavy beer. The beer works perfectly against the light, effervescent wine, creating a perfect balance and the best of both worlds.
07/8Leap year
It may or may not be a leap year, but this sweet gin based drink is perfect for the ladies in the house. With a dash of lemon in sweetened gin, this drink is the perfect combination of sweet and sour. Add both lemon juice and orange flavoured gin in equal parts and mix in a hand held shaker. Its timeless taste is delightful and loved by all.
08/8Good luck charm
It’s gonna be a brand new year in a few hours, so it’s not a bad idea to start the new year with a refreshing drink. This bourbon cocktail has a sweet and tart taste. It offsets the dark whiskey background with the bright flavor of lemon via limoncello and a homemade lemon sour. Add the refreshing taste of spearmint and spread cheer into the new year.
