During the release of 'Rangoon', Kangana went all out to promote the film. It is during these promotions that the actress was quizzed about harbouring dreams of working in the West. However, in an interview with a leading tabloid, the actress dissed the idea of working in Hollywood.
When asked about her contemporaries making it big in Hollywood, Kangana opined, "It would be stupid for anyone to make the move to the West now. Their theatre business is crashing because of the influx of digital media. Asia, on the other hand, is where Hollywood was 15 years ago. It is a lucrative time for entertainment here."
However, actress Huma Qureshi thinks otherwise. Huma believes that cinema is celebrated worldwide. In an interview with Mid-Day, the actress first restrained from stating her opinion when asked about Kangana's comment. But the actress later added, "People say anything. Ever so often, they come out with these doomsday prophecies."
The actress further went on to say, "Cinema can be informative, educative, entertaining or inspiring. It's not going anywhere."
On the work front, Huma starrer 'Jolly LLB 2' alongside Akshay Kumar continues to perform at the Box Office. The actress also stars in a British-Indian historical drama, 'Viceroy's House', which release in the United Kingdom on 3rd March.
