Soaking your nails in a bit of salt can make it strong and give you soft cuticles. With the right ingredients, you can get bright and healthy nails in no time. Blend together a teaspoon each of salt, baking soda and lemon juice. Add the mixture to warm water in a tiny bowl. Soak your nails in for at least 10 minutes. Don't forget to moisturise one you wash it well. This blend is also a great remedy if you have yellow stains on your nails.

If you have a bad case of dandruff, salt can help treat the issues by loosening and removing flakes. It also helps to stimulate circulation in order to achieve a healthy scalp. Salts also protect the scalp by absorbing excess oil and moisture in order to prevent fungal growth. Sprinkle a few teaspoons of salt on your scalp. With wet fingers gently massage your scalp for about 15 minutes. Next, wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner.
