With reports of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor big Bollywood debut doing rounds, Sridevi who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Mom' has constantly been bombarded with questions about her daughters.
In a recent interview, Sridevi was asked if she thinks star kids have it easy in the industry, the actress opined, "It’s more responsibility for star kids. Instead of having things easy, expectation is higher. They are compared to their parents, and that’s unfair. If you’re not good, it’s not going to be a cakewalk even if you are a star kid. In fact, it’s the opposite. There’s more pressure on them and they have to work harder."
Talking about if Jhanvi is ready for being in the limelight, Sridevi added, "I’m concerned about my children being so much in the media. I would’ve been happy if Jhanvi would all of a sudden star in a movie. Now, she is already in the media. But yes, the times have changed, so you better accept it."
She also said that she gets her fashion advice from her daughters. "Well, I take inspiration from them. They guide me and I enjoy that. They are...Aaj ka hai (They are the new generation). They know better. They know what is in fashion. Sometimes you are in your own world. As a mother, I have other things to take. But, I enjoy asking them and we share. Sometimes, they ask me whether it looks good or not, what to change. The same way even I...we share each other's taste," said the actress as she signed off with a smile.
