Fawad Khan had to pack his bags and leave India owing to the ban imposed by MNS on Pakistani actors working in Bollywood films. Fawad Khan who was a part of Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', had to leave the country owing to the ban, and could not a part of the film’s promotions. Due to the continual ban, the actor even lost out on the Bollywood projects he had already been signed for.
Dejected by this, the actor had taken to his Facebook handle back then and talked about the issue at lenghth. “…I pray and wish like many others that together we can build and live in a more peaceful world…” read his Facebook post.
Recently, Fawad was asked if his equation with his friends from Bollywood has changed after the whole incident. To this Fawad said, “I’m still in touch with a lot of my friends there. Nothing’s really changed. Obviously, I’m not a man of steel in that people’s words don’t affect me. They might hurt me. But I am becoming immune to it as time goes by. I have no expectations from them, and that’s what I think has developed this camaraderie.”
He concluded, “Even if I don’t work with them ever again, I’ll still always have love and regard for them, and I assume that’s how they feel as well. That’s why we’re still in touch. We even make plans to meet, to catch-up.”
