Sonam Kapoor's latest eye makeup is a sky full of stars! Here's how you can recreate it

The Hello! Hall of Fame Awards took place over the weekend and as always, the entire B-town brought their A-game. Unsurprisingly, Sonam Kapoor stole the show, as she sashayed into the red carpet wearing a fluorescent lime green-millennial pink gown. Everything about her look was unusual, mysterious and yet so well thought out. Her galactic makeup look complemented her bronzed skin and fluorescent gown to perfection. The eye makeup was *a sky full of stars* and we can’t wait to head back, empty our vanity box and recreate this look. If you’re as obsessed with this makeup look as we are, here’s a breakdown of the gorgeous eye makeup. Begin with prepped and primed face. Apply base according to your liking. You may choose a pink toned lipstick and blush for the rest of the face.

02/5Eye base

Eye base

In order for the eye makeup to last the day, it is important that the eyelids are prepped well. An eye primer will make sure that eyelids are not oily and any product applied over it applies smoothly and stays put. Use the PAC eye base in number 05. It will not only prep your eyes but leave it a sparkly shine.

03/5Makings of the galaxy

Makings of the galaxy

Just like the galaxy, pick two sparkly complementing hues of cobalt blue and violet from the Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette - Gemstone Obsessions. Ensure the shades are shimmery. With a Flat Eyeshadow Brush, begin by applying the blue eyeshadow. Do not go all out. Apply only from the inner corners to the middle of the eyelid. Using another clean Flat Eyeshadow Brush, tap some purple eyeshadow using the rest of the eyelids. Add depth to the outer corners by using a deeper purple hue. Apply this hue with a Blending Brush, and apply only to the outer end and to the crease.

04/5Hint of Neon

Hint of Neon

Brighten up the eyes, by applying just a tiny hint of a lemony-yellow eyeshadow to the inner eye tear duct. A shade like the MAC Eye Shadow in Chrome Yellow would work perfectly. You may line the under eye area, with a Smudger Brush and the lighter purple eyeshadow, as well.

05/5Bring on the volume

Bring on the volume

After curling your eyelashes, apply multiple coats of mascara of your favourite mascara. We love the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara for instantly volumising the lashes and giving a false lash effect.
