When it comes to skincare products, there really is a plethora of options available for you to choose from. This is why we end up with so many different types of skincare products in our vanity. And what happens after that, you ask? Well, we end up forgetting about a few of them for so long that they expire.
Either that or we end up buying so many products that we don't get the chance to use all of them until the very end. And everyone knows that expired skincare products are a big no-no, but that doesn't mean you have to toss them away. You can just repurpose them instead. Wondering how? Well, here are a few examples.
Face cream can work as body cream - If your face cream has expired, don't throw it away. Use it on your body instead. You can use it on your feet or your knees and elbows since these tend to be rougher and the skin here can do with some much-needed TLC from a good-quality cream.
Face wash can work as a body wash - You have to be extremely careful with the skin on your face since it tends to be a lot more sensitive than the skin on your body. So, if your face wash has expired, just use it on your body as a body wash instead. The skin on your body can take it.
Face scrub can work as a body scrub - Stop using your face scrub on your face if it has expired since the ingredients could end up being harmful to your skin. You can use it on your body instead since the skin on your body is rougher and can manage the harshness of the product.
