In the day and age of Diet Pradas and Diet Sabyas, we understand we must tread a little carefully, as we begin to point similar looks out. But to be fair, we’re no way trying to say one celeb tried to copy another celeb’s look or which one wore it better. We just think it’s amusing that despite the vast variety of designers to choose from or the stylings of particular trends, celebs often ending choosing similar ensembles, but wear it in their signature style. If you’re in for a visual treat, without any name calling, read on. Here are some similar looks we spotted among celebrities.

To be fair, both these gorgeous floral numbers belong to Gauri and Nainika’s Resort Wear 2019 collection. The designer duo’s floral and feminine aesthetics have been a hit with the B-town ladies. While Deepika’s midi dress is wrapped and cinched at the waist, Katrina’s gown is floor length and one shoulder. Their dresses are absolute sisters, if not twins!

Honestly, this one’s a little controversial. A bunch of people accused Aishwarya’s stylist for ‘copying’ one Sonam’s earlier looks. Incidentally, Aishwarya's look was also during Cannes this year. But there ain’t no case of copying. Both actresses were wearing stunning ensembles by the same designer, Rinzim Dadu. The designer is well known for her metallic, sculptural silhouettes. Remember, Alia Bhatt’s pink sculptural saree from the cover of Grazia? Yup, same designer.

Shibani Dandekar recently stepped out a beautiful Shehla Khan gown that reminded a lot of Kendal Jenner’s hot pink tulle Giambattista Valli x H&M gown she wore at Cannes. Both gowns were pink and made a generous usage of tulle. But that’s where the similarities ended. Two completely different, but vaguely similar (and beautiful) looks.

On her Cannes visit, Sonam wore a pristine white Ralph and Russo pantsuit. But because it is Sonam Kapoor and she rarely does things in a ‘basic’ manner, her tux came with a long, flowing train. The look felt vaguely similar to Deepika’s Alberta Ferretti cape style pantsuit. While Sonam’s look was well fitted and all things business, Deepika’s pantsuit felt relaxed and leisurely.
