Here's how to wear the spotlight shade this season!

We have had millennial pinks, tomato reds and Gen Z yellows ruling the ramps at some of the biggest fashion weeks in the past few months, however, orange and its various shades are having a major moment in the sun right now. Neon, salmon, peach, and earthy, muted tones were seen on runways recently and if all the cool girls are wearing the hue, why should we lag behind, right? The extensive shade range of orange is what makes the colour a versatile one to style and God knows we like a little variation with our fashion. Orange is the new black and here's how to wear the colour this season...

02/13Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan

If there's one actress who can pull off any hue, it has to be Kareena Kapoor Khan and she's proven it yet again. Kareena was spotted wearing a gorgeous orange dress from Gauri and Nainika. The trendy number featured a one-shoulder bodycon dress with a bardot full sleeves and a cut-out at her waist. Nude dewy makeup, filled-in brows, nude lips and a messy low ponytail with a Greek braid helped round out her look.

03/13Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon was spotted at the airport looking all things trendy. The actress chose to don a co-ord set that featured a gorgeous orange hue. She chose to do away with all other accessories and let her ensemble do the talking for her. She opted for minimal makeup and accessorised her look with a pair of sunglasses and white sneakers.

04/13Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi donned a bright orange pantsuit from Osman Studio. The trendy number featured a single-breasted blazer with balloon sleeves that she layered over a nude bralette. The blazer and bralette were teamed with a pair of straight-cut pants. Accessories were kept to a minimum as she opted for dainty rings from Flower Child by Shaheen Abbas and matching gold earrings. Dewy makeup, orange eye-shadow, filled-in brows, nude lips and curly extensions helped complete her gorgeous look.

05/13Hunter Bell

Hunter Bell

We’re obsessed with this orange jumpsuit by Hunter Bell. This elegant one-piece is complete with cutouts for a sophisticated and trendy feel. All you will need are some wedges and gold hoops to complete the look. Style your hair in beachy waves and you will be party-ready this season.

06/13Helmut Lang

Helmut Lang

Give the 'essential' tank top an orange twist this season and go with this uber cool Helmut Lang 'Essential Tank Top' instead. You could style it with a rad leather skirt or with a pair of jeans or simply tuck it into a high-waist denim skirt for a chic look. Don't be afraid to accessorise the overall look with some matching orange accessories too!

07/13Michael Kors

Michael Kors

You cannot have too many espadrilles. Simple, feminine and trendy. There's nothing we don't love about these Michael Kors Espadrilles. Pair these pumps with a white dress for a casual daytime brunch with your girls or dress them up with a simple LBD for a formal evening ensemble.

08/13Indah Sazerac

Indah Sazerac

Indah Sazerac's cutaway one piece is one of our favourite swimwear pieces of the season, and the colour is only part of it! This statement-making piece is detailed with a narrow front panel and is complete with a racer-back for a sporty, athletic-inspired finish. If you team this with a sheer sarong this season, you are guaranteed to draw some eyeballs towards you.

09/13Rebecca's Minkoff

Rebecca's Minkoff

Rebecca's Minkoff’s Mini M.A.C crossbody bag is a classic piece for any fashionista. If you haven't had a chance to get your hands on one of these yet, we'd recommend opting for this peachy orange bag. It is all things classy, trendy and cool.

This 'Satin Gown' by Mango has our hearts. We love the minimal waist-band and the uneven hem, lending the look that femininity and the long puffy sleeves are total winners too. You could literally style this dress in a number of different ways whether to work or to the movies. Right styling, however, is the key here.
