Let’s be honest and say that we did somehow doubt the fashion awesomeness that was going to to take to the scene after what we experienced in 2017. Us fashion enthusiasts were absolutely floored with the amazing looks our celebrities gave us last year. Pulling out all stops, they went straight for the kill and let’s just say that they conquered! Anyhow, just four days into the new year and we’ve realised just how wrong we were to doubt our B-Town divas and their sartorial awesomeness. And so today, we’ve got you’ll 8 looks that prove that 2018 is off to a great and fashionable start.

True to her ‘fashionista’ title, Kangana gave us an airport look to love recently. The actress yet again proved that you can work your boardroom outfits to the airport too and stun in them. Styled by Ami Patel, Kangana worked a straight-fit, well-tailored dress in the hue we think will make it big in 2018, lilac. Adding that sophistication to it all, she threw on an off-white coat and completed the look with pointy-toed black heels. In tinted glares and with her tote, we think she knocked her look right of the park…again!

While Kareena might still be relaxing with hubby, Saif and baby Taimur in Europe, a leading magazine released the first ever photoshoot of 2018 and it involves Kareena! Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, the actress has worked some gorgeous dresses and gowns and in some sexy swimwear, she has even put her lean and toned body on display. The photoshoot will make you go ‘wow’, trust us!

Proving that summery whites can even be worn in winter, Neha gave us a lambent monotone look to love. Working white all over, she went with white wide-legged pants which she teamed with a white shirt with a ribbed front and even threw on a sleeveless longline jacket. With her hair slicked back and with shades, we think Neha looked all things trendy. The actress has proven that going monotone in white is anything but boring and we totally agree!

If you think florals were the rage in 2017 and died at the year’s end, Suhana’s outfit will prove you wrong. Suhana, daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan proved that florals are here to say when she recently was papped in a gorgeous floral ethnic outfit which featured a subtly printed white lehenga teamed with a blouse and a matching dupatta. Don’t miss that statement maang-tikka. Doesn’t she absolutely look stunning?

Much like Suhana, Malaika too proved that 2017 trends will go on to be hits even in 2018. While Suhana proved that florals will continue to rule the fashion scene, Malaika proved that metallics are here to stay. She worked a silver metallic tricel midi skirt which she teamed with a basic black tee and completed the look with a trendy blue sling bag. Letting her bright skirt do the impressing, Malaika kept it simple elsewhere, thus aptly balancing her look out to perfection!

While Kangana gave us her smart-casual airport look to adore, Alia too gave us a travel look to love…just a little different. Unlike Kangana, Alia went the more ‘biker-chic’ way and donned black tights teamed with a basic white T-shirt and threw on a black zippered jacket to add that extra swag to her monochrome look. But wait, that’s not all. Alia even completed her look with black leather knee-high boots. Going with her hair tied and with no makeup at all, she looked her gorgeous self.

For her travel ensemble, Disha went with denim shorts featuring a distressed hemline as also quirky patches lending that funk to her look. The actress went with a pink slogan T-shirt which she knotted toward the bottom, thus exposing her toned and tiny waist. With trusted white sneakers and a backpack, she completed her look. The former Miss World looked her stunning self whilst making her appearance with husband, Abhishek Bachchan at Gauri Khan’s flagship store. For the day, Ash opted for jeans that were cropped at her ankles and she went with a basic white T-shirt to team them with. Aishwarya added that sharpness to her casual look with a chic black blazer and gave accessories a miss. She did, however, with her awesome sartorial flair, throw in shimmery red loafers to complete her look. The shoes made for a statement and lent her simple look that added drama.
