Most of our celebrities, and we’re talking women today, prefer to avoid working the same hue on repeat, let alone working the same outfit. Well, Katrina Kaif isn’t “most of our celebrities.” The actress does have a preferred colour and it happens to be the bold and bright red. We’ve spotted the actress work the colour many times on repeat now in the form of gowns, anarkalis, minis, sarees and more, in different tones of the bold colour of course. Katrina took to an international red carpet looking stunning in a textured Elie Saab gown. The outfit featured a high neck, long sleeves and a voluminous hem that went into becoming a train. Not like the dress needed any cinching as it hung close to all her curves, but Kat did throw in a sleek and thin belt into the mix too. She wore her fiery burgundy locks styled open and went with a bright red slick for her lips. We love how the actress let the hue take centre stage and stuck with a rather modest yet ultra classy silhouette for the occasion.

For an event in the city, Katrina chose a gorgeous anarkali outfit from Manish’s flagship label to stun in. She was seen working a fully embroidered red anarkali. The shimmery and intricate all-over embroidery was done on a black canvas. The plain black hem at the bottom made for a nice break from all the red she had going on and with subtle makeup, she rounded off her look. We love how Katrina accessorised with just dainty earrings, thus keeping it chic and classy.

Opting for a bright red gown yet again, the actress was spotted at a beauty awards function in this beautiful Romona Keveza gown featuring a one-sided long sleeve and a sexy cut-out accent on one side. Katrina’s dark locks made for a nice contrast to all the red she had going on and her dainty gold danglers lent that added minimalistic bling to the monotone look. With a nude look for her makeup, she rounded it all off. We love how these long monotone red gowns help highlight her lean and toned frame!

Going with a red gown for Hello Awards, 2017, Kat chose an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla gown to stun it. The elegant strapless number oozed of sex appeal with the sheer-lined plunging neckline and with a section of her shiny mane falling on her face, she looked stunning. Her look was rounded off with smokey eyes and nude lips to balance out the solid red of the outfit. This makes for one of our favourite looks of the actress in the bright colour.

This time, Katrina opted for a short silhouette to make her appearance at a book launch. She went with a chic red mini from Versace featuring a high neck and a cut-out at the neckline. The extended red sash from her waist lent the monotone look that added drama and we love how Katrina went with a thick black corset belt to pull everything together. With black heels to match her belt (and her dark and lush locks), she looked her minimalistic yet stylish self.

She looked gorgeous in a red majestic pant saree dazzled with an embellished golden border. She wore her black tresses in a middle parting in a conventional way and her makeup was subtle and apt. Her lips were topped with a red lipstick, thus perfectly matching her outfit. She rounded off her look with big jhumkas and golden bangles. And instead of heels, she stepped into nude flats with a hint of gold to complete it all. Drop-dead gorgeous, isn’t she?

Spotted attending a film festival in 2016, the actress was seen working an elegant ethnic attire featuring a beige and gold lehenga set with gold embroidery on a red choli, again by Anamika Khanna. To this, Katrina threw in that pop of brightness with a bold red cape-like jacket with gold embroidery on it. Opting to work the same bright colour for the same film festival in 2016, Katrina went all the way with her red mania and chose a chic and sleek red Prabal Gurung midi to make her appearance in. The long-sleeved outfit featured cut-out accents at her shoulders and the midi hem lent that very feminine vibe to her look. With gorgeous black pointy-toed pumps, she completed her look. Featuring a pink top and a red skirt, the sleeveless number hung perfectly on the actress’ slender frame and with danglers, she completed her look.
