Sridevi’s daughter Khushi is the perfect one to take inspiration from. The diva was spotted at a wedding redefining ethnic wear. Donning a Manish Malhotra outfit, the beauty looked stunning in her blossomy garb. She had on a thread and artwork fabric lehenga-skirt which she had teamed with a matching tulle top featuring bold florals at the neck. And despite it being a very elaborate look, Khushi looked fresh as summer in the pink outfit. The flowers kept her looking summery and the pink added that freshness to her look. She did away with baubles and let her stunning outfit take centre stage.

Giving us serious outfit envy, as usual, the actress was recently spotted looking resplendent in a white outfit. Donning Bollywood’s favourite designer, Manish Malhotra, the actress was seen working a white lehenga-set comprising of a lehenga-skirt featuring gold Kashmir-style threadwork and she had teamed it with a matching long-sleeved embroidered and threadwork blouse. What better way than to go with white to look fresh for summer, right? With dainty earrings and her hair tied into a low-slung ponytail, Karisma looked gorgeous as she twirled around in her desi ensemble proving that long sleeves can be styled for summer as well!

The reigning Miss World went bold with her Indian outfit but she balanced it all out and went with a subtle and light hue. She was spotted working a Shehla Khan creation which comprised of a ruffled tiered lehenga-set. Her outfit featured a tiered off-white lehenga-skirt which she teamed with a dull-gold sequined off-shoulder blouse featuring sheer sleeves. She even threw on a detailed embroidered dupatta to round it all off. The beauty looked straight out of a fairytale and went with a hairband to fasten her locks back with and styled them rather naturally. With a bronze-ish glow for her makeup and kohled eyes, she looked ethereal.

Vaani Kapoor’s lehenga is the perfect option for a day wedding or ceremony. The actress, working a Neha Agarwal outfit looked all things contemporarily Indian in the garb. The powder-blue lehenga was intricately embroidered with colourful Zardozi wires in royal blue, wine, emerald and silver. Applique and organza work too was seen in the form of blossoming flowers. She teamed it with a matching blouse featuring cut-out accents at the back thus revealing her sexy and toned back. With hair styled naturally and doing away with statement jewellery, it would be an understatement to say that Vaani looked stunning. Much like Vaani’s outfit, Kalki’s outfit too was more in the ‘contemporary ethnic’ zone. The actress was recently seen taking to the ramp in a very summery lehenga-set from Monica & Karishma's fashion label. She was seen working a high-waisted pure malmal skirt with meticulous detailing styled with a soft-hued silk blouse with drop-shoulders. Her dark locks made for a nice contrast against the light hues she had going on and in the multi-textured look, she stunned on the ramp. Kalki’s outfit is the perfect pick for a summer wedding as it comprises of light work and even a lighter mix of fabric.

Spotted at a friend's wedding, Alia proved with her look that despite going with heavy work all-over, you can still look summer-fresh and light in a lehenga. The actress was seen working a ‘moonlight lehenga’ by Krésha Bajaj. Her outfit featured a bustier blouse embellished with glass, beads and crystals. Alia teamed it with a matching lehenga-skirt and even worked a detailed sheer dupatta to add that extra oomph to it all. Alia threw in a maang-tikka and statement earrings to accessorise her look and she looked nothing short of ‘wow’ in the outfit. An all-over embroidered lehenga-set could be worked this summer, however, remember to opt for a subtle colour to keep it looking light and summery.

She opted for a beige lehenga-set featuring a tulle embroidered lehenga-skirt which she teamed with a long-sleeved beaded blouse featuring a mesh design in silver and a sheer neckline. Don’t miss the feather detailing on the sleeves. The sheer dupatta made for a nice addition to the look and if you think that going all-over with beige could be a tad bit too boring, here’s Diana proving you so wrong. Diana styled her hair open and swept to the side and she went with statement earrings to accessorise with too, lending more bling to her evening look.

We’re rounding off today’s list with the most resplendent summer lehenga we’ve seen yet and that too donned by the gorgeous Aditi Rao Hydari. The actress looked stunning in a Payal Singhal lehenga. And while this lehenga might be ‘a bit too much’, trust us when we say that it will get you a lot of eyeballs at a wedding. Aditi was seen working a floral lehenga teamed with a matching blouse and a sheer dupatta with mesh detailing. The multi-hued flowers in light tones made for a very summery ostentatious look and in it, she looked straight out of a fairytale. With earrings and bangles, she rounded off her look.
