A lot of you probably wear makeup on flights and that’s completely cool, but just as we shouldn't sleep with our makeup on, the same goes for long flights. Plus, you’ve probably already collected a fair amount of sweat and grime waiting around at the airport before boarding. So one of the first things you should do is cleanse your face, whether with cotton and micellar water, a creamy hydrating cleanser or moisturising wipes. Make sure you use only gentle and specifically moisturising products since the goal is to keep your skin hydrated during the flight.
02/7Refresh your skin with a hydrating mist
Not just does a hydrating mist but refresh your skin, but it sort of wakes you up and gives you a bit of a moisture kick. You can also continue doing this at any point during the flight when you need a bit of a pick me up.
03/7Add it with your favourite face mask
Pick your favourite moisturising sheet mask for a quick 10-20 minute skin refresher. And as you would in the comfort of your own bedroom, put on your mask, watch or read something and have the best feeling skin once you’re done.
04/7Rock some under eye masks
Your under eye area is always in need of a little extra care, especially on a long flight. If you don’t do that you will land with some dark, under-eye bags. So whether you opt for an eye patch/mask or an eye cream, be sure to keep your under eye area hydrated.
05/7Top it off with a serum
For a major kick of moisture to your skin, try a serum to keep your skin soft and supple after the long journey.
06/7Finish it off with facial oil and moisturiser
In order to really keep your skin soft and hydrated, finish off your skincare routine with facial oil. It really hydrates your skin without making it greasy or sticky and lets all the layers of products seep in.
07/7Don't forget some lip balm
Whether your lips have a tendency to get chapped easily or not, chances are the flight will leave your pout in major need of moisture, so make sure you have your choice of lip balm or lip treatment handy.
