01/11Kim Kardashian West is on a neon spree!
From neon bikinis to neon midis and minis, she has been loving the trend we all thought was long gone. We recently spotted Kim work not just one but two very chic neon pink looks. She showed us how to wear neon pink pants with a lighter neon pink bodysuit (as you can see on the left) and for her second look, she went with this chic neon pink mini (as you can see on the right). Dare to wear neon like Kim Kardashian West?
02/11Monotone madness
Kim looked typically sexy as she arrived at Brooklyn Museum in New York in a cream crop-top and long skirt by Rick Owen. Her outfit helped show off her taut tummy and hinted at her equally-daring braless display. The high-neck crop-top knotted at the side showed off her killer abs, whilst the skirt draped her figure to sweep the floor. Adding some Egyptian-style metallic accents, Kim donned two chunky gold wrist cuffs and statement gold rings. Her dark locks were pulled back into a high ponytail with plenty of volume and texture. With smokey gold eyes and lips to match, she rounded off her look. Monotone ain't lookin' too boring now, right?
03/11Oversize everything
From working oversize jackets, bombers and dresses, Kim seems to have quite the liking for the baggy fad. She also makes sure that despite being ‘oversize’, her looks make her seem sexy (which she undoubtedly is) and that they do not swamp her. Before everyone was seen donning oversize sleeves and jackets, Kim was putting the oversize fad on display by working oversize trench dresses and voluminous jackets with boots. Yes, just the jacket and nothing underneath…she’s Kim after all! So, let’s just be a Kim-fanatic right now and say that she played a major role in everything oversize that took to the fashion scene.
04/11Cycle shorts
The last time we wore cycle shorts was in school. Raise your hand if it’s the same with you too! Also, let’s face it…they are rather unappealing, right? No, wrong! And you’ll will agree with us if you’ve seen Kim Kardashian work cycle shorts. The reality-show television star has made a major case for the garb by working cycling shorts many times now with her looks. Kim knows well that the piece helps her put her pert derriere on display and even helps exaggerate her curves. Kim is often seen working the daring piece with her oversize jackets and furry slides. Of course, she aptly distracts from her sexy legs by leaving a few buttons on top unbuttoned, displaying a hint of her cleavage. Okay, lots of it!
05/11Tracksuit loving
Athleisures came into the fashion scene big time especially by the end of 2016 and went strong all throughout 2017 too. And while we credit our International designers for making tracks look so glam, we also pay ode to Kim Kardashian for the trend. Kim has been working tracks for as long as we remember. And not just tracks but the complete tracksuit! Be it velvet ones or ones with a sheer top, she gave the fad her own sexy twists and managed to pull off the look like a total boss. Also, Kim has increasingly been spotted working these tracksuit looks of hers teamed with pointy-toed boots and whilst going monotone in one bold colour!
06/11Power dressing
While she might be an international sensation, she is, after all, a businesswoman. And what better than a sharp and chic suit to look the part? Kim proved that good tailoring goes a long way with her many smart trousers and well-cut jackets (and those sassy bustiers of course). Kim proved that working striped navy suits and your black bodices with formal pants is the new way to stun in the boardroom. Kim’s glamour has known no bounds in these sharp suited-up looks of hers and we’ve always been in awe of how she managed to make something as sharp as a blazer-suit look sexy and sassy. Well, she’s got a talent for it…let’s leave it at that.
07/11Glam leggings
Leggings have been around for a while now. But velvet tights and sheer tights have only taken on after her! Here’s just where Kim shines: when wearing the most revealing but still trend-setting outfits like leggings! By pairing them with her translucent strapped heels and with fitted tees, she makes leggings look so ‘high-street’. We cannot get over her black sheer, knicker-bearing tights! Were they tights or stockings…we can’t decide! Can you?
08/11Fanny packs
Kim is known to be one to go minimal with the accessorizing…at least most times. However, her love for fanny packs has been rather evident. And while we’re increasingly spotting fashion influencers like her sister Kendall Jenner and supermodels like Bella Hadid work the accessory, Kim worked it way before any of them! Kim proved that the ‘bum bag’ makes for the most versatile accessory as it doubles-up as a belt, keeps your hands free and even acts as a make-shift overpack! How cool does she make it cool, right?
09/11Bodysuits
Cut-out and blingy are a few bodysuits we’re used to spotting now but Kim has been working plain and the ‘usual’ bodysuits for the longest time now, making them look all things sexy. Teaming them up with her cycle shorts or working them with her minis, Kim has been taking this 90s trend for a spin for as long as we can remember! She is always seen going with super-simple versions but with lots of sass in them obviously. It goes without saying that they help put her curvy body on display and those plunging necklines add so much oomph to her overall looks too.
10/11Cut-outs
When you’ve been working out as much as Kim, you’ll understand that that sort of body requires being displayed and there’s one thing to do it with: cut-outs! Whether it’s tops from her husband, Kanye West’s brand or chic Tom Ford dresses, they all feature some cut-out here and there thus aptly putting on display her curves. It’s rest assured that her cut-out looks will give her maximum exposure and as fans we love it!
