More than anything, you need to wash your hands as it's an extremely important step before you touch any of the cooking material.

You need to be very careful of using your fresh produces before you start cutting them and cooking them. Especially raw produces should be washed thoroughly so that you can disinfect them before handling them for cooking.

04/5You're not using or storing leftovers properly
Properly storing leftovers is something you should always know to do right. Especially during a pandemic, you don't want to fall sick with food poisoning. And so, you shouldn't leave your hooked meals on the counter for more than a couple of hours. You need to store the leftovers in the fridge and then finish it off within three to four days.

Since you should pay attention on cross-contamination, you need to do all you can by avoiding any type of illnesses. Be sure you practice safety measures when handling raw meat and use different cutting boards and knives for both chicken as well as vegetables. And make sure you wash everything nicely later before another cooking session for the next meal.
