Never skip meals

Coordinating between multiple meetings and getting your normal work for the day done, can prove to be tedious enough for you to end up skipping your meals. Don't do this. It takes 15 minutes to sit down and peacefully eat something. You can excuse yourself for 15 minutes, no one will blame you. And you won't be able to work well on an empty stomach anyway so eat your food, people!

A healthy breakfast can help

Assuming your shift begins in the morning, it is always best to opt for a good and healthy meal then. Your breakfast should be light but should also be packed with proteins, vitamins and nutrients that can help keep you satiated for long. These nutrients will also act as fuel for you to get through the day with ease.

Don't eat mindlessly

As we mentioned earlier, if you skip your meals you're going to end up binge eating something else at some other time and that isn't going to be great for you. So, don't eat mindlessly. Sit down comfortably, relax and slowly eat your food. Focus on what you're eating and how much of it you're eating. Don't let distractions get the best of you while you eat.

Drink plenty of water

You might be tempted to keep sipping on some coffee, tea or even fizzy drink throughout the day but let us tell you that nothing can beat water when it comes to keeping you refreshed. Water can help keep you hydrated throughout the day and it can also help improve your digestive system's process so that you don't end up with other problems like acidity and heartburn.
