This one is really strange. It is a restricted 2,700-acre campground located at 20601 Bohemian Avenue, in California. The land is believed to be owned by a private San Francisco-based arts club called the Bohemian Club.It turns out that every summer, the Bohemian Club hosts a two-week camp in the woods where the most influential people in the world gather and if you aren't one of them, this place is strictly off limits for you.

This place is considered 'cool', both figuratively and literally. The Seed Vault is just 800 miles away from the North Pole. The Seed Vault houses every type of seed this planet has to offer. This has been done to revive species of plants just in case a disaster of a massive scale wipes out botanic diversity from earth. The vault performs like any regular bank in the sense that governments can send seeds to be stored in this vault.

The reason why this beautiful place has been completely abandoned is because it is considered to be one of the most haunted places on earth. The island has a fort and has been a checkpoint for ships and has also been an isolation home to plague patients and had a psychiatric facility until 1968. The departed souls of those plague patients and mentally deranged individuals are still rumoured to be roaming around the island.

This place has been given the privilege of being a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. However, it has been inaccessible to the public since 2008. The caves hold intricate and beautiful paintings of animals drawn in ancient times. An unfortunate fungal outbreak inside the caves compelled the French government to close the caves off permanently. Only historians interested in conducting academic research are allowed here.

This island is a small one and covered in greenery, however, it is very inaccessible because the coral reefs around it make it difficult to reach on water vehicles. Helicopters may have been able to access the remote island, but the obstacle, in this case, is not the environment of the island, but its inhabitants, the Sentinelese. They are hostile to others and don't like to plays hosts to guests either. They have been known to shoot at helicopters with arrows.

This place is the deadly combination of icy glaciers and active volcanoes. One of the volcanoes on the island – the Mawson Peak started spewing lava from its 2,745-foot high crater in the year 2000. This island is home to animals such as marine birds, seals and penguins.
