01/16With each trip, your confidence will grow immensely
Travel. This one word is enough to stir up multiple emotions within your mind. We've all had our fair share of wanderlust from watching films and TV shows that give you a peek at all the wonderful places out there in the world. The best thing about travelling is that it opens you up to so many different experiences and helps you grow as a person. So, if you're looking to add travel to your list of to-do's here's why you should get to it already.
02/16It'll keep you on your toes
The thing about travelling is that it keeps you on your toes all the time. You'll be spending a ton of money on activities and sightseeing so no way are you just going to sit something out. It'll teach you how to keep going despite not wanting to and also with a smile on your face.
03/16It'll spark creativity
Sometimes when you need to get creative the best thing to do is to step out and explore. Let people, colours, places inspire you and spark that creative streak in you. When you travel, you get to experience new things, encounter new types of people and this can certainly get those creative juices flowing.
04/16It's liberating
Imagine packing your bags and taking off for a beautiful place that you've been dying to explore. Travelling helps you step out of your comfort zone by helping you connect to the environment that you're in. So, needless to say, travelling can feel quite liberating.
05/16You get to try different cuisines!
Food! If there's one word other than 'travel' that can stir up pleasant memories in your head it has to be 'food'. When you travel, you get to experience different cuisines from different places. Every place has its own unique cuisine and we're sure it'll be an absolute treat to try it out.
06/16It will open up your mind
Travelling can make you more intelligent. You get to learn so much in a foreign environment as you encounter new people and places. You could even learn a new language or how people work in a certain field. The gift of travelling will take you way beyond a classroom in terms of knowledge.

07/16It may change your attitude and perspective
Learning about a new culture and a place's history may change your perspective on many things. It can change many preconceived notions and stereotypes you blindly believe. Experiencing something for yourself can be transformative. You can also share your new perspectives with other people. Picture Courtesy: Google Images
08/16Get lost to discover who you are
Exploring an unknown part of Earth can also take you on a journey of self-exploration. Trying something new or getting out of your comfort zone will force you to adapt to an environment you know nothing about. You may even learn exciting things about yourself you never knew you were capable of.

09/16The long-distance solo journey – time to get to know each other better
You will know better your limitations, your weaknesses but also your strengths. Not only will you have time to reflect on your life (what few people do, while it’s vital). You will have the opportunity to learn more about yourself. You will sometimes find yourself in some situations. Now, getting to know one another is one of the most important things in life. The journey, because of the time it gives you and the fact of evolving in another environment, is an accelerator.
10/16A time of reflection on your life
Each journey will have an impact on you. As travel is often said to be a privileged moment to make a little assessment of our life and orientations. This is a moment of reflection. And then, often a journey changes you, can shake your priorities and your conception of life. Each journey brings something to the one who lives it. We never come back exactly the same. Sometimes it’s not necessarily visible. But basically, change is there.
