They suggest that unhealthy lifestyles, smoking, and drinking can possibly generate poor health in men. This can possibly explain why the rate of deaths due to COVID-19 is higher in men than women. Countries like China, Italy and South Korea have recorded a strong representation of men who were tested positive of the virus. Later, it was found that most of the death numbers in these countries were men. Here are some reasons that might be to explain why men are more prone to death due to coronavirus.

Men are more likely to smoke when compared to women. Smoking damages health, irrespective of gender. This can make any individual more vulnerable to the nobel virus. In China, 52% of men smoke compared to only 3% of the women population.
