Aloe vera mask

If you've got an aloe vera plant lying around at home then boy are you in luck! For this mask, you'll need a scrub of your choice and a fresh aloe leaf. Take the scrub and apply it to your hands. Scrub your hands gently and then rinse it off. Then, take the gel from the leaf and rub it all over your hands. Put your hands in a plastic bag or gloves and leave them in for about 10 minutes. Then wash your hands and apply some moisturiser to them.

Avocado mask

Avocados are the 'It' fruit when it comes to skincare and haircare. Take 1 ripe avocado, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 teaspoons plain yoghurt and 10 drops of sandalwood oil. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them well to form a thick paste. Apply this paste to your hands and let it sit on them for at least 30 minutes. Once done, rinse your hands with cold water.

Potatoes contain properties that can not only moisturise your skin but also brighten it. You'll need 2 small potatoes (boiled, mashed and peeled) and 2-3 tablespoons of milk. Mix these two ingredients well to form a thick, consistent paste and then apply this paste to your hands. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and then rinse your hands. Apply your favourite cream afterwards.

Oatmeal mask

Believe it or not, oats contain moisturising properties too! You'll need 2 tbsp oats (preferably organic), 5 Chamomile tea bags and 1 tbsp Corn Flour. Boil the tea bags in water for a few minutes and then remove the tea bags. Once the water cools down add the other ingredients and mix well. Apply the mask to your hands, wrap them in plastic for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse the mask off.
