Step 1: Prep your eyes: First and foremost, you need to create a good base for your eyes. Cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin near your eyes so that you get rid of any puffiness or redness. Use a cream or a night serum as they work wonders on your skin. Once you are done with this, apply a primer to your skin.

Start lining your upper lash line with small, slow strokes. The reason why you should start with small strokes is that you might mess it up if you try to rush it and draw it perfectly in one go. These small strokes can gradually be thickened and then you can draw the lines as per your requirement.

This is the most crucial part. You need to follow the natural shape of your eyes and let it guide you to draw the perfect flick. You could use a bobby pin as a stencil as that might help you out. Or, imagine that your lower lash line is extended and use that as a guide. You can even draw a rough line using an eyeshadow brush.

Once you've drawn a rough shape and figured out what the flick needs to look like, just use dotted motion with your liner to create the flick. This way you'll be able to figure out exactly what the flick should look like. When you are satisfied with the outlines, draw the flick using them as a guide.

You might end up with a not-so-perfect liner shape so if it is a little shaky, use some concealer and then a cotton swab to correct it. You could even use some masking tape while drawing the flick so that you can pull it off to reveal that amazing cat flick. And voila! Your perfect cat eye look is ready!
