But what if we told you that there's so much more coconut oil can do not just for your hair but your skin too? Yes, you read that right. There are so many benefits coconut oil has to offer and what's best is that it also happens to be extremely safe which is why it works wonders on super sensitive skin too. 02/5Tame flyaways
You've probably already been using coconut oil on your hair to moisturise it. However, you could also use it if you want to tame those pesky flyaways. Since coconut oil is quite heavy just remember to use only a little. Sprinkle some onto a toothbrush and rub it on those flyaways.
03/5Nourish your cuticles
Just like your hair, coconut oil can be used to nourish your cuticles also. Apply some coconut oil to your nails and massage the area around your nails for a few minutes. Let the oil sit for about 15-20 minutes so that it gets soaked into your cuticles and then wash off the oil with soap and water.
04/5Post-treatment care
“Coconut oil is a go-to ingredient to help heal skin after procedures, such as chemical peels and laser treatments,” says an expert. Since coconut oil happens to be antimicrobial in nature, it can work wonders to keep infections at bay. Plus, it has amazing moisturising properties so that's an added advantage.
05/5Hydrate cracked feet
Fed up of those cracks on your feet? Here's a tried and tested method to do away with them for good. Just slather some coconut oil on your feet and wrap them in saran wrap.
