Yikes! Imagine having the virus on the earrings that you're wearing or on your favourite pendant! That's why it's so important for you to also clean and sanitise the jewellery pieces you wear every day so that they don't end up contaminating you. Here are some tips that will help.

Want to clean all your silver jewellery but don't know where to begin? Well, turns out that hand sanitiser can do just the trick for you. All you need to do is pour a few drops of the sanitiser on your silver jewellery and start rubbing. It'll help get rid of all the contamination from them. Do not use chlorine-based sanitisers though as they can make the colour of your jewellery fade.

If you thought these wipes could only come in handy to clean your hands and surfaces, think again. They work perfectly if you want to clean your jewellery. So, use alcohol-based sanitising wipes to give your jewellery a good clean-up. It'll be able to get rid of any contamination without damaging your jewellery.

You'll notice that sometimes your jewellery has a layer of dirt or grime on it from years of not paying attention to cleaning it. And this layer can be rather difficult to get rid of. So, soak your jewellery in some antibacterial soap and water mixture for a while so that the dirt loosens up. And then use a toothbrush to clean it all out.

You could also soak your jewellery in an alcohol solution which must, of course, contain over 60% alcohol content. Just leave it in for a while and then wipe it clean later. However, to avoid the solution forming a sheen on your jewellery, soak your jewellery in some soap water afterwards. It'll make your jewellery look clean too.
