There has been no situation, no emotion and no occasion for which a Bollywood song has not been created. 'Rang Barse Bhige Chunar Wali' is a popular 1981 Hindi song from Bollywood movie 'Silsila'. The song which Amitabh Bachchan sings during the film is said to be one of India's best-known folk songs. It is also touted to be the most popular song to be played during the festival of colours, Holi. There's not a chance that you won't dance to this number when it starts playing. If there's one song that should be recreated it’s this one.

'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya' is a song from the famous Bollywood movie 'Mughal-e-Azam' (1960). With Lata Mangeshkar's soulful voice and Madhubala's spectacular acting skills, this song was brought to life. Touted as one of the most iconic and romantic songs ever to be made, 'Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya' is still a popular fan favourite. We wonder how a remade version would sound though.

'Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu' is a Bollywood song sung by Geeta Dutt, and was picturised on Helen. The song became highly popular, and rejuvenated the career of the singer Geeta Dutt. It was also the first major hit for Helen. The addictive music and superb dance steps are certainly something that we'd love to see on the silver screen once again. Undoubtedly, this song is one of the most iconic songs to have been made.

Ok, let's just admit it. We've all sung along to this beautiful, beautiful song from the film 'Shree 420'. While Lata Mangeshkar and Manna Dey brought this song to life with their amazing voices, Raj Kapoor and Nargis helped emote it to the audience. The song became so popular that it turned into the unofficial love anthem of the decade. Truly a love song that we'd love for to be recreated on the silver screen.

'Mere Sapno Ki Rani' is a popular Hindi song from the 1969 Bollywood movie 'Aradhana'. The song was composed by Sachin Dev Burman and performed by Kishore Kumar. In the film, Rajesh Khanna, sings the song atop an open jeep virtually chasing Sharmila Tagore, who was aboard the toy train in Darjeeling. Such was the popularity of the song that it was recreated in many other languages. No harm in recreating it once again, right?

'Raat Akeli Hai' is yet another beautiful Bollywood song from the film 'Jewel Thief'. The music for all the songs were composed by S. D. Burman. The song was picturised on Dev Anand and Tanuja and let's just say they did complete justice to it. Asha Bhosle's soulful voice lent a rhythm to the song that would be very hard to recreate today. Nevertheless, when it comes to iconic songs, this is hands down one of them. We wonder who could replace the actors in the song though.

'Musafir Hoon Yaaron' was a song from the 1972 film 'Parichay'. Composed by R.D Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar, the song was picturised on veteran actor Jeetendra. Jeetendra's stellar acting skills and Kishore Kumar's beautifully lent voice brought this song to life and it became an instant hit amongst the audience. Touted as one of Kishore's most famous songs, 'Musafir Hoon Yaaron' is an all-time fan favourite. Filmmakers take note, we're eager to hear a recreated version soon.

'Jaane Jaan Dhoondta Phir Raha' is a song from the 1972 Bollywood movie 'Jawani Diwani'. The film is most remembered for its songs by R.D. Burman, especially this one. Touted as one of Randhir Kapoor's iconic songs, the film went on to become a musical hit and, in fact, became every romantic's favourite.

'Aati Kya Khandala' is a Hindi song sung by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan & playback singer Alka Yagnik and composed by Jatin–Lalit. It was a part of the soundtrack of the 1998 Hindi film 'Ghulam'. Upon release, the song went on to become a super-duper hit and is still a favourite amongst fans. We'd certainly love to hear a recreated version of this one.
