A host of Bollywood celebrities attended the Uttarakhand state formation day celebrations at Mussoorie, followed by a film conclave. The event was inaugurated by Smriti Irani, the Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women & Child Development, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. It’s being jointly organised by the state government and a media house.
The conclave witnessed several B-Town personalities being honoured for their contribution to cinema. The list includes leading film presenter and Chairman of Wave Group,RajuChadha, award-winning filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj, Rahul Mittra, Muzaffar Ali, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Girish Malik, Umesh Shukla, Bharat Bala, Bunty Walia, Vikram Khakhar, Shree Narayan Singh, Sandeep Singh, Ajay Arora, Raaj Shaandilyaa, writer Puja Ballutia, actresses Kavita Chaudhary and Pooja Bisht, Kulmeet Makkar from the Producers Guild of India, Dharmindra Mehra and Pradeep Rai .
The special invitees interacted with the Chief Minister and also deliberated on shooting films in the state in the future. On this occasion, producers RajuChadha and Rahul Mittra also announced shooting their next supernatural thriller, Arjun Rampal-starrer Anjaan, in Uttarakhand next year.
