We have been waiting eagerly for pictures from Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding and finally, they have come! The couple finally released their official wedding pictures and the two look like a dream in their Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensembles. This is from their Konkani ceremony where Deepika can be seen wearing a red and gold kanjeevaram saree by Angadi Galleria, teamed with gold ethnic jewellery. And Ranveer chose to go with a white and gold sherwani to complement his bride. The two look so in love and we couldn’t be gladder for them.

From the many pictures and videos we came across on social media, we inferred that most of the couple's family were dressed in cream and gold. However, the couple went with different hues for their looks. We understand that both opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee outfits. Ranveer Singh was seen donning a white and gold kurta and dhoti, whereas Deepika Padukone was spotted dressed in a red and gold saree. Buzz is that the couple will themselves share photos of the ceremony on their social media accounts and we're looking forward to seeing what their outfits look like!

About their Konkani wedding ceremony

The couple got hitched in the morning as per Konkani traditions on the 14th of November (Wednesday). Only close friends and family were part of the ceremony and celebrations. According to reports, around 30-40 guests were seen standing around the railings of the villa's beautiful patio while the couple sat on the floor during the rituals. The main patio was filled with hundreds of white roses and it was a fairytale-like wedding indeed! We also hear that the food served post their wedding stayed true to the Konkani style.

The decor

While these images did surface on social media, not much is known about who in particular was in attendance. However, we do know that 40 close friends and family attended their nuptials. And from what we can see, the decor seems to be rather elegant. A chandelier and lot of flowers have been used and centrepieces, glassware and lanterns lit up the reception area, making it look all things dreamy. Buzz is that Deepika and Ranveer have signed a bond with chefs to serve exclusive dishes. Also, chefs were flown in from Switzerland for desserts and for their wedding cake.

A high-security zone

Reports claimed that all of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's guests were personally greeted on arrival. And the couple is ensuring absolute security at the villa at Lake Como. From special wristbands to patrolling boats to no mobile phone cameras, everything has been done to ensure the security of the venues in Italy. We also have got to know that the couple has rented seaplanes to keep drone cameras at bay and boats are patrolling the wedding venue too. The total cost of security happens to be close to a whopping 1 crore.
