Lack of proper facilitiesThe venue for Justin Bieber's maiden concert in Mumbai was the expansive DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai. Considering the singer's massive popularity, the doors were for the venue were all set to open at 2:30 pm, which after much chaos were thrown open at 3:30. The audience had to walk a couple of kilometres at least to reach the main performing venue.
Overtly expensive refreshmentsWhile it is a common trend to have free water available for the audience(Global Citizen India did), the water was being sold here, and that too at an exorbitant rate! A regular water bottle, which is priced at the MRP of Rs 20, was sold for as high as Rs 100. Not only water, even food was sold at a premium. A plate of samosas or a basic vada pav were sold for Rs 100.
Allegations that Justin Bieber lip-syncedWhile the fans enjoyed the concert as they got to see their idol live, a lot of people were left disappointed as Justin Bieber alleged lip-synced throughout the concert. The singer also stopped the concert to tune his guitar midway as he maintained that it had gone out-of-tune owing to the humidity.

Celebrities reactionWhile a lot of celebs attended the concert, many were disappointed. Though Alia and Malaika seemed to have enjoyed the concert, Sonali Bendre labelled it as a waste of time and got trolled for it. Even the 'monkey love' couple, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover left the concert five minutes after arriving.
Justin Bieber, who was to enjoy a luxurious vacation in India, left the country after a day-long visit post his concert. Well, we guess there is always a next time, eh?
