With ‘Kaabil’, director Sanjay Gupta seems to have returned to his groove. Known for his directorial like, ‘Kaante’ and ‘Zinda’, Sanjay seems to be returning to the same place with ‘Kaabil’. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead roles, Kaabil is the story of a blind couple, whose life gets destroyed after an incident.
While Yami beautifully carries off her part, the Roy brothers star as the suave villains in the film. This 2.2-minute trailer showcases a beautiful montage of Hrithik and Yami’s relationship, and also clues in the audience on the twist. Hrithik though jarring in parts, manages to pull off the part of a blind man seeking revenge for his wife’s murder rather well.
‘Kaabil’ is produced by Rakesh Roshan and is slated to release on Republic Day 2017.
