Randeep Hooda starrer ‘Battle Of Saragarhi’ hit a road block yet again. The film is to be helmed by director Rajkumar Santoshi and is produced by Waves Cinemas. Randeep will be seen in the role of Havlidar Ishar Singh, known as the fourth Battalion of the Sikh Regiment. While Randeep has already started training in sword-fight and shooting with vintage rifles, a leading daily recently revealed that the film has faced yet another obstruction in its making. Apparently, Rajkumar and the makers of the film have ended up locking horns against each other.
A source close to the daily revealed, "The initial plan was to start shooting from October and wrap it up by January, 2017. However, the film’s budget ballooned and the makers subsequently asked for a bigger share in the profits, which Rajji, who is also a co-producer, wouldn’t agree to. He wanted complete control over the production which the production house wouldn’t agree to."
Speaking to the daily, CEO, Wave Cinemas, Rahul Mittra, said,"We are yet to sign the agreement on the final figures." However, Rajkumar said that he was still in talks with the producer, and further added, "The level of their involvement in the project is yet to be decided. They may come on board as presenters."
Well, the fate of the 'Battle Of Saragarhi' will only be decided post a further development in the film!
