Baking is basically a process that gives your makeup a long-lasting creaseless, poreless, and flawless finish. To begin with, you need some setting powder. You need to look for setting powder which is fine and will perfectly blend with your makeup. Also, make sure to avoid buying powder that contains silica or the minerals Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide as these minerals cause flashback or what is known as the white effect in photos.
Once you've selected the setting powder you need to select the right tools. You could either use a damp makeup sponge or a densely packed brush. To dust away the powder you can use any fluffy brush.
Here's the process. Now, your powder needs some sort of liquid to grip onto which is why you must start by applying a foundation or your concealer. Once your face is fully concealed, use your brush or damp makeup sponge to dab the setting powder onto the areas you want to brighten and set on your face. Let it sit for three to ten minutes and then simply brush away any excess powder. And there you have it; an easy peasy way to bake like a pro.
