Aside from her epic acting skills, Kangana Ranaut is often spotted in stylish ensembles, giving us major fashion goals. However, what’s admirable about Kangana is her unabashed love for the Indian weave. Whether it’s wearing a Kanjeevaram
weave at the Cannes, or a simple raw cotton saree on her way to catch a flight, Kangana’s love for the Indian weave has been a long standing affair. While not only does this give us a good dose of fashion inspiration, Kangana stepping out in a traditional Indian saree also gives a boost to the handloom industry of our country – and we’re all for that.
The actress was recently spotted decked up in a traditional ensemble, a locally sourced (brownie points for that) Benarasi
saree on the occasion of her brother’s engagement. A Benarasi
saree has been a staple for Indian women during special occasions. Kangana’s regal take on the saree was a sight to the sore eyes.
Kangana styled her molten gold silk saree along with a pale pink silk blouse, keeping it a tad experimental but still regal. For accessories, all she chose was a pearl and stone choker necklace.
She further styled the look with retro wavy hair and a strong red lips.
We loved how Kanagana kept the styling of the look traditional and understated. What did you think about the look?
