For an event in Delhi, Anushka Sharma chose to work the Indian drape and of course, she chose a piece from one of her favourite designers: Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Styled by Allia Al Rufai, the actress donned a beige tussar georgette saree lined with old tilla borders. She paired the saree with a contrasting black hazar-buti blouse. Her outfit was accessorised with polki earrings by the same label. Defined eyes, a nude lip and a neat low bun rounded things off. Such a stunner, isn't she?

The actress was spotted in 2011 at an awards function in this lambent draped look. She was seen working this white sheer Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree featuring dainty white embroidery all over and a bold border. She teamed the saree with a contrasting black top featuring dainty gold embroidery at the border. Anushka simply accessorised with a bracelet and earrings and went with a winged eye-lined look for her eye makeup. Simple and stunning, right?

This time, for her red carpet appearance in 2012, she was yet again seen working a Sabyasachi saree, but this time she went with the rich velvet texture to stun in. She was seen wearing a gorgeous beige saree featuring a contrasting and bold velvet pallu. She teamed this with a black long-sleeved blouse featuring gold embroidery all over. Anushka yet again went with just earrings to accessorise with and wore her hair in an updo. We love how the actress worked the three hues, blue, black and beige, all in harmony with this ethnic look of hers.

Sticking with contrasting hues, Anushka was seen working this lovely Manish Malhotra drape back in 2013 on the red carpet. Her pink saree featured a sheer black pallu with a thick pink embroidered border. Anushka, this time went with a slinky and sexy black blouse to team the drape with and wore her hair in a sleek and taken back updo, thus keeping it looking sharp. With statement eyes and a gorgeous pair of gold jhumkas, she rounded off her look.

Doing away with her ‘less is more’ mantra, she was seen in this stunning Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree in 2014. Her beige drape featured metallic silver and gold zig-zag work all over and she teamed it with a dark fully gold embroidered saree blouse. This time, Anushka opted for a bold red lip to complement her look with and as usual, went with just earrings to accessorise with. We love how the actress chooses to go with updos for her hairdos to complement her Indian looks with.

For promotions of her then-upcoming movie years back, she yet again went with an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla drape to stun in. She was seen working a light beige saree featuring a classy and minimal shimmery border. Adding that oomph to it all, she went with a metallic silver and gold sequined halter-neck blouse to round things off with. With statement earrings and a red lip, she rounded it all off. This saree clad look of Anushka’s makes for one of our favourites.

Spotted in 2017 for an event she attended, the actress chose to go all blossomy with her ethnic look. She was seen working a black saree featuring an all-over bright pink and orange floral print and gold border. With a simple black blouse, she completed her look. This time, Anushka put her chiselled features on display by working a sleek high top-knot for her hairdo and a bright red lip look to complement her ensemble with. That messy updo makes for quite the sexy look, doesn’t it?

To attend a reality show last year, Anushka chose this gorgeous pink drape from Sanjay Garg’s label, Raw Mango. Anushka paired the gorgeous drape with a contrasting yellow blouse and went with statement gold jhumkas to round off her look with. Anushka wore her hair in a centre-parted severe bun adorned with a string of gajra and she went with smokey eyes to round it all off with. That pink bindi though… Perfection!

After her pastel Bridal lehenga to get married in, Anushka chose this bold red Benarsi saree for her reception. Sticking with her favourite designer, Sabyasachi, she stunned! This saree was teamed with an elaborately regal gold and diamond choker-jhumka set and she had her hair pulled back in a severe, centre-parted bun which was adorned with mogra-strings and her look was rounded off with bold, winged eyes, nude lips, a bright red bindi and a long and strong streak of Vermillion. This look makes for our most favourite one of hers in the Indian drape!
