Designer Tarun Tahiliani has been the go-to couturier for to-be brides for decades now. He has monopolised the bridal scene in the country and to say the least, his creations are truly just works of art. Now, we hear that the master couturier has decided to broaden his horizons and has forayed into the world of jewellery too. The designer is set to launch his debut collection for Confluence from Swarovski Crystals, a jewellery collective that has featured the likes of Suhani Pittie, Rohit Bal, Gaurav Gupta and Manish Arora, since its inception in 2016.
Channelling his one-of-a-kind design excellence into the art of jewellery making, his brand now has jewels you can buy to match your wedding trousseau with. Tahiliani has been working with crystals for the longest time, incorporating them into his ensembles but now, he does so with the jewellery he has created and well, one thing is for sure, they too are pieces of art.
Titled Tarakini, the collection interprets the haze of stardust that lights up the sky into a delicate array of jewels featuring hoop, dangler and stud earrings with a selection of maang-tikkas—all within a budget-affirming price range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000. The colour palette of the pieces includes golds, rubies and emeralds, often accompanied with pearls and vintage Patina Crystals from the brand. Reeking of intricacy, the dainty traditional pieces are any minimalist's dream come true!
The collection is now available on Jabong, Myntra and Aza and well, we're sure getting our hands on one them. What about you?
