Make Her Your New Best Friend: You shouldn't just share a cordial relationship with your sister-in-law. Show her that the two of you can be the best of friends too. You never know, she just might turn into that companion with whom you can share all your fears, secrets, happiness and pretty much everything.

When you have a sister-in-law you can rest assured that you two can go on as many shopping sprees as you want. She'll make for the perfect shopping partner for you, be it your wedding shopping or just a shopping date the two of you want to go to. So, go out shopping, head to your favourite restaurant for lunch and then just chill together.

This one only applies if you two are on social media of course. But if you are, we suggest you add her as a friend in all your online profiles be it Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. This way you'll be a part of each others' virtual lives and you can leave cute comments on each others' posts.

We know this sounds a little cheesy but trust us when we say that cooking together will be an amazing bonding experience, especially if you're cooking for the whole family. So cook together, share all those secret recipes and blow your family's minds with your amazing cooking skills.

When you fight with a family member, you don't hold grudges against them, do you? So, shouldn't the same rule apply to her too? After all, she is a part of your family now. So, treat her like your own sister and forgive her if she makes a mistake. Don't let an emotional wall come up between you two.
