Now, while we haven’t actually been invited to Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s home (yet), we’re going to take you through their home with the pictures shared by the gorgeous couple on Instagram. And trust us, there’s much we have gathered from just pictures already! Shahid and Mira are the perfect examples of a young urban couple and their home personifies those vibes as well. From traditional wooden accents to contemporary open spaces, their home will serve as inspiration the next time you choose to do yours up. Here’s a sneak-peek…

The interiors of Mira and Shahid’s home in Juhu fit their contemporary vibe perfectly. And while parts of their home personify modernism, most of their interiors, as well as their furnishing, are minimal and neat pieces like the setee Mira can be seen sitting on, in the picture above.

You will notice that other than wooden-framed glass doors and wooden flooring, other parts of the couple’s home features wooden accents all over. Wood lends space a sophisticated finish and their home reeks of just that. It also seems like the couple has a preference for darker tones and monochrome finishes.

Their living room where this widely-circulated picture was taken features plush sofas and contemporary yet minimally designed furniture like wire chairs to complement the space. Long mirrors too can be spotted. How else do you get the perfect selfie, right?

We gather that the couple might like contemporary art too as we have spotted a few abstract paintings in their living room. The home also features a slight laid-back vibe to lend the place those ‘homely’ feels. There is also a wall of polaroids marking special moments from the couple’s life.

The house is kid-friendly of course and little miss Misha Kapoor can often be seen spending time in the Kapoor’s large outdoor space. We have often seen pictures of the little munchkin in their outdoor space either taking dance lessons from her grandmum or cutting cake whilst celebrating birthdays or just spending time with mom and dad.
Now, this is a home we would like to own for ourselves!
