Let's just be honest, as much as we like the sun shining bright and making us feel cosy and warm, the summer season can turn out to be a nightmare for our hair. We end up with excessive sweat in our scalp, so much grime and build-up as well as dry and frizzy hair. All of these problems can damage your hair to the extent that you may have to chop off a lot of it. So, if the summer season is basically ruining your hair, here are some natural remedies that you should try out to lessen the damage.

02/5Aloe vera
Aloe vera is famous for its moisturising properties which is why it's the perfect ingredient to try out on your hair during the summer season. All you need to do is scoop out the gel from one aloe vera leaf. Stir it so that it's a little runny and then apply it all over your scalp and hair. Leave it on for about 30 minutes and then rinse it off for smooth and moisturised tresses.
03/5Mint leaves
We tend to often style our hair using styling products or we end up using too much shampoo or conditioner and whatnot. All of these can lead to product buildup in your scalp which can cause scalp problems. Make a paste out of mint leaves and apply it to your scalp. You'll notice that it works like a clarifying agent and can get rid of all the product build-up in your scalp.
04/5Yoghurt
Dryness in your hair can not only cause it to become super brittle but it can also lead to dandruff issues in your scalp. One way to combat this is to use yoghurt on your hair. Just take a few spoons of yoghurt and apply it all over your scalp. Its properties can help fight dandruff and can keep your scalp clean and healthy.
05/5Apple cider vinegar
Often we end up with hair problems because the pH levels in our scalp are thrown off. So, to restore this pH balance, use some apple cider vinegar. Mix one part of apple cider vinegar with one part of water and run this mixture through your hair after shampooing. Leave it on for ten minutes and then rinse your hair with water.
