We automatically associate winter season with hot cocoa and cool breezes but if we have to be more realistic then the one thing it really can be associated with is dry skin. Nothing steals moisture from your skin like the drop in temperature. And while there are a ton of moisturising products available in the market, not all of them give you the results they promise. So, why not try something natural instead? Here are some moisturising ingredients you absolutely must include in your winter skincare routine if you want soft and supple skin.
Coconut oil - Coconut oil isn't just a great moisturising agent for your hair. It also works wonders on the skin. Just apply a few drops of oil to your skin one to two times a day and massage gently. You'll notice how soft and smooth your skin will feel afterwards.
Ghee - This one comes as a surprise, doesn't it? Well, turns out ghee has amazing moisturising properties. So, the next time your skin feels dry, just head over to the kitchen, grab some ghee and rub it on your skin.
Cream (Malai) - Stop throwing away all that precious milk cream and start storing it in a jar in your fridge. While you may not want to eat it, you can always apply it to your skin instead because it'll work as a moisturiser and make your skin smooth and soft.
Try out these ingredients and see how well they work. Stay tuned for more updates.
