01/8Give your nails a makeover!
A good manicure is like a luxury no other. It may just be polishing on one tiny body part, but it makes a huge difference to your appearance. But just because a manicure feels fancy and luxurious, doesn’t mean you don’t get tired of the same old thing. While you can always change the colour of the polish you use, but if you really want to change things up, change the shape of your nails. But if you’re wondering what other shapes you could groom your nails into, here’s a list!
02/8Stiletto nails
These are the ones Cardi B is always seen wearing. They have a wide base and a inversely proportional tip. It looks super chic, and is equally uncomfortable. Just like the stiletto.
03/8Lipstick nails
Is it a surprise that perhaps the most commonly used makeup item is used as an inspiration for a nail shape? Much like the lipstick, this nail shape has a slant on side. We’re not sure how cute it looks, but it’s a nice change in pace. Isn’t it?
04/8Mountain-peak nails
Mountain-peal nails are stubby, shorter sisters of the stiletto nails. Just as pointed. But not as tall. These are well suited for people who don’t enjoy comically long nails
05/8Round nails
These are the most basic and easy shape to achieve. Essentially, they only sharpen the shape you naturally have. So if you’re someone who uses their fingers a lot and can’t work around with long nails, this nail shape along with a shorter length, is a great option!
06/8Oval nails
Ovals nails also have a rounded tip too but the shape has a more severe curve and has a deeper angle at the sides. We’d recommend getting this if you are getting gel extensions.
07/8Square nails
For a classic manicured nails look, try the square nails. For this, the tips are cut and filled straight across so that there are almost corners where the top edge meets the side edges.
08/8Squoval nails
Squoval nails combine the best of both square and oval nails. By rounding out the corners of a square shape, nails get the sophistication of square nails with the natural appeal of rounded or oval nails.
