Foods that have a longer shelf life as compared to other foods

Every food item spoils at a different rate. You can't stock your fridge with all the products and expect them to stay fresh for longer duration. In fact, you might just put some foods in the fridge which can in turn spoil the food faster than their usual shelf life. There's a list of food items that can last for a few weeks and some are virtually immortal. While some foods have naturally long shelf life, they can die down soon if not stored properly. If you store them well, these foods can go on for months without spoiling. There are foods that can spoil quickly due to high oil or moisture content in them. Such foods can last long only if they're dried, canned or preserved.
